Trump selected Amy Coney Barrett to succeed Ruth Bader Ginsburg

US President Donald Trump has selected his favorite candidate of conservatives,  Amy Coney Barrett to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat on the Supreme Court. According to people close to him, President plans to announce his choice on Saturday and will try to get Senate confirmation before the day of election.

The crucial step will be highly beneficial to him as he can assure a hold on Supreme Court specially on the occasion of election campaign against former Vice President, Joe Biden. The selection will strengthen his conservative political base when Senate have 38 days to confirm her for the court,  the before the election on November 3.

By the selection of Barrett, Trump can bring the majority of six in total nine seats to Conservative Party. 48 year old Barrett would become the 115th justice in the history of America and the fifth woman to serve the Supreme Court, if she can get the confirmation.
