Sandalwood Drug Case: Lookout Notice Against Minister’s Son

The Central Branch Investigating the Sandalwood Drug case in the kannada film industry. Police have issued a lookout notice against Ex-minister’s Son Aditya Alva in karnataka. A lookout circular against two suspects businessman shivaprakash and former minister jeevaraj alva’s son. They also fear that he may tried to run away from the country and accordingly all the airports in India have been alerted to arrest him.

Aditya alva is the brother in law of bollywood actor vivek oberoi. The CCB recently raided Aditya Alva’s residence in Hebbal, North Bengaluru. He is among the 12 accused in the Sandalwood drug scandal which is being investigated by the CCB police. According to CCB police, Aditya is accused number 6 and has been absconding ever since the police started probing the drug case. While film producer Shiva Prakash is accused number 1 in the case.

The CCB intensified its investigation after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested three persons from the city, who were allegedly supplying drugs to singers and actors in the Kannada film industry, also known as “Sandalwood”.

According to the Internal Security Division officials, notices have been served on 67 people. The state police started investigating drug abuse among bigwigs including those in the film industry after the Narcotics Control Bureau arrested three people from Bengaluru with a drug haul. The CCB has arrested 13 people in this connection while it is in lookout for at least seven more people.

Those arrested include film actresses Ragini Dwivedi, Sanjjanaa Galrani realtor Rahul Thonse and RTO clerk BK Ravishankar.
