The trailer of Madhavan’s directorial debut ‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ is out. To be released in Telugu, English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada, the film tells the story of rocket scientist Nambi Narayanan, played by Maddy.
The trailer narrates the rise of Nambi in the world of space research. His patriotism destroyed him in the sense that he gave too much to an ignorant nation.
The visuals are stunning and the dialogues powerful and hard-hitting with the one mouthed by Suriya that to finish off a dog it’s enough to brand it mad and to do the same to a human to brand him a traitor of the nation. The scientist was branded a traitor and faced jail and shame for several decades before he proved his innocence after a relentless fight.
‘Rocketry: The Nambi Effect’ has Madhavan and Simran as Mr. and Mrs. Nambi Narayanan while Suriya plays the important character of the interviewer who brings his story out. The cinematography by Sirsha Ray, music by Sam CS and editing by Bijith Bala have worked in tandem getting Maddy’s vision translated on the screen.
Suriya has played an instrumental role in making the film work. “Brother we owe you more than you can ever imagine. If not for you this endeavor would not have been half as successful. Love you brother God bless you,” Maddy said, addressing the ‘Aakasam Nee Haddhu Raa’ actor.
