New Zealand declares climate emergency

New Zealand declares climate emergency and pledges to have a carbon-neutral government by 2025. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern led government announced $141m fund to finance electric or hybrid vehicles and replace coal boilers.

Parliament called climate change as “one of the greatest challenges of our time” and now New Zealand joinef 32 other countries that have declared a climate emergency including Japan, Canada, France and the United Kingdom.
