Masks are now legal in New Zealand

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and Virus Response Minister Chris Hipkins announced the new strict rules as a precaution against covid-19. After meeting
with senior lawmakers the prime minister has announced that New Zealanders will be legally required to wear masks on public transport in Auckland and on planes nationwide.

Children under age 12 or passengers taking taxis or Ubers extempted them the rulr although their drivers will be required to wear masks. The precautions on taking as new cases were reported in the country last week.
