POST: IT & COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE

TYPE: FULL TIME

SALARY RANGE: APPROXIMATELY BETWEEN GBP 25,000 – GBP 30,000

40 HOURS PER WEEK

The Company

San Damiano Corporation Ltd (SD) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Omnia Lifestyle Limited (Omnia) operate in the healthcare industry providing nursing, domiciliary care and clinical services in the relief and management of pain. The Group are currently engaged in an ambitious IT programme designed to increase productivity and continuous quality improvement employing some 70 staff comprising 30 full-time employees and about 40 agency workers.

We are looking for a dedicated IT professional who is interested in joining a dynamic team based in the lovely town of Guildford in Surrey. Scope of job:

  • The development, maintenance and performance of the Group’s websites.
  • Procurement, management and maintenance of all IT assets including hardware, software, networks (both LAN and Wi-Fi) as well as telephone and security systems.
  • Implementation and maintenance of SD’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (currently being developed).
  • Development, management and performance of the Group’s social media platforms.
  • Management of Omnia’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Assisting the Marketing team in all aspects of IT social and digital marketing activities.

Duties Include:

  • Formulating a comprehensive IT strategy and implementing the approved action plan.
  • Ensuring the due performance of the Group’s IT assets including the network system, servers, telephone and security systems.
  • Inducting and assisting in setting up of new IT equipment and systems including software for current and new users.
  • Providing IT technical support for all staff.
  • Carrying out ad-hoc duties related to current and future IT requirements as necessary.
  • Installing software and hardware systems, including new equipment, anti-virus programs, ERP/CRM programs and other IT-related tools.
  • Troubleshooting functions including scheduled and random checks of IT systems.
  • Help develop and monitor the effective functioning and performance of the Group’s website and social media platforms.

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, telephony and security systems.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN networks, servers, MS Active Directory, Outlook and Exchange.
  • Hands-on experience in specifying, configuring and troubleshooting user and customer issues in a changing user environment.
  • Experience with the use and applications of software tools such as Office 365.
  • Knowledge and experience with Word Press, UI/UX and ID Recognition & Device Management software.
  • Knowledge of IT security architecture especially with respect to e-commerce.
  • Professional style with collaborative team working skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience in IT systems.
  • Degree or Diploma in ICT, Computing, Computer Science, Business, Digital Marketing, Media Communications
