San Francisco: Facebook has introduced a new centralised resource centre ‘Emotional Health’ on the app to help people cope with the growing mental health issues. During the pandemic, people around the world are facing severe mental health challenges and Facebook will support them with relevant information and tips from leading health experts.
The resource will create a space for people to connect to the expert support they need when are struggling. Facebook has also launched World Health Organization – Digital Stress Management Guide on WhatsApp’s WHO Health Alert chatbot.
In Facebook Messenger, a WHO sticker pack is facilitated for easy conversations on mental health and also launched a Crisis Support by Crisis Text Line for the prevention of suicide and self-harm.
