Donald Trump Returns to White House From Hospital

Washington: US President Donald Trump returns to White House after a four day stay at hospital due to Covid-19. He was discharged from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center andgave a thumbs up as he departed. He waved at reporters and took Marine One helicopter to fly back to the White House.

Trump walked up the steps onto the South Portico’s balcony as he reached the a White House, took off his mask and saluted the departing Marine One helicopter. He vowed to get back on the campaign trail soon in a tweet. “Don’t be afraid of Covid,” he tweeted.

White House physician Dr Sean Conley said, “Over the past 24 hours, the president has continued to improve. He’s met or exceeded all standard hospital discharge criteria. He has received another dose of remdesivir you’re here today, and then we plan to get him home.It’s been more than 72 hours since his last fever. Oxygen levels, including ambulatory saturations and his work of breathing or all normal though. He may not entirely be out of the woods, yet the team and I agree that all our evaluations and most importantly, his clinical status support the president’s safe return home, where he’ll be surrounded by world-class medical care 24 seven.”
