Creators can now protect & control their images, videos on Facebook & Instagram

Facebook has announced to expand access to Rights Manager to help creators to have better control on their images and videos uploaded on Facebook and Instagram. The creators can also issue takedown requests over re-uploaded videos and images on Facebook and Instagram which are owned by them.

In a Facebook post the product manager of Facebook, Jeniece Primus said, “Page admins can submit an application for content they’ve created and want to protect.” The company has added a new filter view for spotting monetizable matches, better guidance to collect ad earnings while placing an ownership link on the matched video.
