Bangalore: BJP leader and Karnataka minister KS Eshwarappa has said that the party will give tickets to any Hindu community, including Lingayat, Kurubas and Vokaliga, but will never give tickets to Muslims. “We may give party tickets to people belonging to any community of Hindus.’ Karnataka Rural Development Minister KS Eeswarappa said.
He was speaking to the media about the upcoming Belagavi Lok Sabha elections. Belagavi is a constituency represented by the late Union Minister of State for Railways, Suresh Angadi. Suresh Angadi died due to Kovid infection. The Election Commission has not announced the date of the by-election.
