3 Popular Apps are Removed from Play Store for Collecting Data of Kids

Google has removed three apps titled Princess Salon, Number Coloring and Cats & Cosplay from Play Store for violating its policies. Google received concerns from International Digital Accountability Council (IDCA) as it found these apps were collecting data of users especially kids.

As per Google rules, the data about children has to be handled with extra care and shall not pass it to third parties. The three apps have collective installs of over 20 million. The apps Princess Salon, Number Coloring and Cats & Cosplay were removed from the Play Store with immediate effect.
